Yes. There was a group of "diggers" who found it at two dumping places (together with a lot of other WWII stuff).

Do you happen to havea any images of the newly stamped discs? Usually old discs that are stamped today are recognizable because the impact of the stamps removes some of the patina creating a 'halo' around the letter/number on the front and just flaking material off the back.
