POW tag Stalag XVII

I have a tag from Stalag XVIIB . In the summer of 1943 alot of Russian pow's were moved to other camps in the area to make way for US airmen. Part of the stalag was cordon off and renamed Stalag Luft XVIIB. my question is = was the Luft marked on their tags or did they keep the stranded pow tag. If anyone has a Stalag Luft XVIIB please can you post it. My understanding is that this part of the camp was guarded by the Luftwaffe and not the army, until the SS took over the guard duties in late 1944.
