It is of course from the 3rd Batterie of Artillerie Regiment 109. It looks good to me Montag. If it is from a reputable vendor then I see no problem.

As said above, the emarke is fine.
I have bought from Ratisbons once and everything went fine, so no worries about that if you ask me.

    Hello my friends,

I well received a parcel today.

Die I. Abteilung vom Artillerie-Regiment 109 wurde am 1. August 1938 in Wien, im Wehrkreis XVII, aufgestellt.

The I. Abteilung (1-3) was under IX. A.K. at the beginning of Barbarossa. If I./109 followed the A.K., it travelled Brest-Litowsk, Minsk (June/July), Smolensk (Aug), Jelnja, Wjasma (Sep/Oct), and finally Moskau (Nov/Dec). The unit was armed with 10,5cm Kanonen.

Am 5. Februar 1942 wurde die Abteilung zur II. Abteilung vom Artillerie-Regiment Großdeutschland umbenannt.

    Best regards,
    S.W.
