I don't like the "9" being below the line and it seems to be somewhat different to the font on my original. I also think that the lower arms on the E's and L's are thicker.......but that may be due to the "crud" on them. I am always concerned that the better fakes can really become "good" by adding some "age" to them. I think that's what's going on here.

Hi "11C"
Thank you for your comments.
I am not a specialist in this field but I know their opinion.
For me, your mark also raises some thoughts.
Letters ... especially the sloping "G" and the proximity of the hole to the chain.
But these are just my observations.
Waldemar
Regards.

The "9" below the line is still a major red flag for me personally. As I understand it, the number dies were put into a stamping tray and aligned prior to strike. No numbers were individually stamped and all were perfectly aligned relative to the line. There should be no variance between the axis of the line and the allignment of the numbers. I went through two of Don Bible's "books" and could fine no examples out of this complience.
Here is Don Bible's contact information if you want a expert opinion.
