I saw it when i read the topic.
But i have a question, is it a waffen-S.S. Erkennungsmarken or S.S.-VT ?
If i understand well, it seems the owner of ID disc keep it, even when he moves on another formation.
Being a combat unit, I would say the unit was Waffen SS. When moving to a new unit, troops would keep their original ID tag unless I am very much mistaken.
I know they are broken but still very nice.. Not sure on the other one yet.. Opinions?

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
