Isn't 1155 a remarkably high stammrollen number for a non-ersatz company level unit?

I am merely questioning that with around 120 men per company, a stammrollen number of 1155 would indicate a turnover of around 10x of the entire company strength. Surely a savagely high casualty rate?

Thank you, Paul! I guess not many other recognize value and rarity of this piece given the foreign volunteer part and the fact that it's missing the coveted SS runes
Not a Kaprolat find --- it was found on a former Den Norske Legion camp site by a road running between Louhi and Suoperi (if I understood that last part right)... some buttons and a WHV badge was also found there. Eugene said it was the first ever example he had seen coming out of Karelia--- he later showed me a really corroded one (half), iirc. Really happy with this one as they are near impossible to find in any condition!

A couple of others I believe I have not added to this thread before --- the Rasse- und Siedlungshauptamt tag was near impossible to photograph for some reason but you get the picture (no pun intended).
