Looks to be marked correctly and nothing is obviously wrong. I have never seen a "SS Kriegsberichter" tag so I cannot say it is good 100%.
I would say it is an original, but it is unissued because there is no blood type stamped on it.
Very interesting piece - I wouldn't mind having one in my collection.
Sarge
Sarge, good observation but it does have a roll number so it might be issued. I see a lot without blood type stamps that were used.
For me, clearly not original . Neither blank nor pleading like me personally .
Meskalin,
Do you have a reference for this type of tag? I have never seen one myself.
Hello,
I have a fragment of a Kurt Eggers brand. Unfortunately, nothing more.
In my opinion, many of these war correspondent for propaganda units were created. There was pure SS war reporter units you .
Such as The war correspondent company / department and course, the standard Kurt Eggers .
At this brand to me reveals not the meaning of the label.
The war correspondent , have been led just like other parts of the Wehrmacht in normal unit forms .
This brand cries out to produce money.
The blank does not fit to the SS. The letters to fall , the runes to ....
This font strikes me odd. Until Matt chimes in otherwise i am thinking this is fake. Let me know if i am wrong please.
I need to write an addition here .
There was of course units / departments / divisions that only had a war correspondent platoon.
