Hello all,
I have been offered this fine police disk but I am a bit concerned about the unit. It reads:
SS- POL. INF. NACHR. E. KP.
My concern is that it is a company level reserve disk is that correct?

OK I think it is correct as far as the unit:
SS-Polizei-Nachrichten-Ersatz-Kompanie (en?) In Apeldoorn,
looks like the unit was Dutch ss.
Well there was apparently an SS-Polizei-Infanterie-Nachrichten-Ersatz-Kompanie listed as being stationed in Den Haag as of 16.7.41, so the unit is real it seems. That's the only reference to it that I have though- no unit info or anything. No reason I can see to expect they were Dutch though- it was an occupied country, not an allied state.
I can't say I see anything really positive about the half- but nothing obviously negative either.
Ohhhhh- pillage then burn...
Matt,
Thanks your correct of course, these were places where the SS units were trained and organized not recruited.
Thank you again
