    Found this while on holiday in Croatia metal detecting, So I think its 100% as I dug it up. Spent 5 hours in the field looking for the other bits, (no joy). I would like to know anything about the unit. The pay roll number is 1181 but not cleaned that bit yet and there are also a few letters which have not been cleaned. When I have finished it I will post some more pics.

    The 7th SS Volunteer Mountain Division "Prinz Eugen" certainly served in Croatia!

    finished cleaning..... hard to get the light right.

    It looks like the number 8 is upside down and is a smaller font than the number 1. Any one come across this before?

    Nice find, the NA on the second line I can only assume is from the Nachrichten Abteilung. Ekm snapped in this way can sometimes be found at capitulation areas.
