    Ers Btl. = Ersatz-Bataillon, RGT. H.G = IMO Regiment Herman Göring.

    Many thanks for the information. Would you know how I could go about tracking down who`s tags thease belonged to?

    Sure, it's easy - ALL you have to do is find the Soldbuch of the individual a particular dog tag was issued to.
    There is No other way.

    hi all.. bit of help needed . i have been given a dog tag .. found in westpommern..(on the surface i should add) .. it reads '2./Pi.btl2 .. underneath is the number '201' ..the rest (if any) is too corroded to read... would i be right in thinking this was from a pioneer batt ?any other info would be much appreciated.. thanks ....
