Aviation art prints and photo collectorhi there . i love aviation prints, but i only have a small amount of wall space i can use. a few months ago i bought a signed limited print of a Robert Taylor picture called valour in the pacific c/w certificate. it was a superb painting of b.29 superfortress bombers in a wonderful sky, signed by amongst others Robert Morgan of memphis belle fame . he later went on to pilot b29s in the pacific. i was happy with the painting and was aware that there was a companion print available that went with it but this seller did not have it and at the time it did not bother me. . i had it framed in a a specialist framers in a high quality acid free frame and mount which was not cheap !! after a short time though i began to wish i had got the companion print which showed zeros attacking b17s.. cut a long story short i had to get the same print again as a 2 print set !! i had these 2 prints framed at the same place in the same frames and now i have got 2 copies of the b29 print and have got one of them wrapped up in my loft which is such a shame, it may come down to be e bayed in the future. picture enclosed is not very good because of reflections, cheers, mike

Great thread. ( I too have a couple of autographed photos
and a very old print of an Avro Lancaster - plus some
images of P-51 Mustangs that I framed which were
    also clipped from magazines......... )
    Regards,

    Steve.

There are some truly beautiful prints on the site mentioned. I'm sure I've been on it at one point or another in the past. Would like to own one of the ones with Galland or Hartmann's signature myself. Might have to put it in the budget.

I had the pleasure of meeting Robert Taylor when he visited Australia about 20 years or so back.

Here is another of my prints, this one isn't a Robert Taylor print though, this one by Mark Postlethwaite.
