    No photo Nick? Sorry, it's appeared now. Such a shame the original was scrapped in 1946.

    Hasn't the BBMF Lanc been repainted as Thumper II now, I think it the Phantom was replaced in 2012.

    lets face it they scrapped loads of deserving aircraft at the end.you cannot keep them all.

    'Phantom of the Ruhr" is such a menacing name, Perfect for a Bomber Command Lanc and the role they played out over the night sky's of occupied Europe.
