It is a beauty! I love the old brass suspensions used on these. I wonder how many of these medals are circulating with collectors, as I am sure that most of these men were dead before the Cold War was over with(thus medals were returned to the Govt).

Are these able to be researched? I know that orders can be researched because of the numbers etched into the reverse, but these medals do not have the numbers. Is there a role of names somewhere? I would love to know more about my award recipient.
