This is a temporary certificate for the award of the Medal for Victory over Germany.
It is reported that the holder can claim cat he fought from 1943 to 1945.

Very good document as it is signed by the Hero of Soviet Union - colonel Fedotov Semion Vasilyevich (1913-1980), 795 Rifle Regiment of 228 Rifle Division commander.
The holder was native Ukranian born in Odessa region. Order of Great Patriotic War 2d class award in 1985.

Both were awarded to Guards Sergeant Fyodor Ivanovich Paly, Budapest on 5 Feb 1946 and VoG on 2 Mar 1946, and signed by the commander of the Independent Training Battalion of the 500th Artillery Brigade, Guards Major Sarayev. The purple stamp certifies that the recipient received his War Participant's Certificate.
