1. Brief description of personal feat
Comrade Nikitin is a participant of the Patriotic War since 10.11.42. He participated in the battles for the cities Velikie-Luki, Nevel’, Novo-Sokol’niki, Narva and in the territories of the Estonian and Latvian SSR. While working as the Company Sergeant Major, he showed exceptional aptitude and care in the organizational tasks, providing the personnel staff of the Company with equipment and supplies.
He constantly looks after the supplies of the personnel staff, skillfully arranging the delivery of them. He especially looks after the drivers due to the combat conditions under which they execute combat missions at large distances from the base.
Despite the hard road conditions in the muddy season and the firing of the enemy, he personally and by himself delivered the supplies, thus raising the morale of the drivers and contributing to the successful execution of their military operations.
For the demonstrated courage and selflessness, he is recommended for the awarding of the medal: “For Combat Services”.
