Defense of Leningrad Medal. Opinions?

LOL, I am not too sure! The one I bought has a white ribbon with a single blue/green stripe. The version that I posted with better detail/ on it's original suspension comes with an all white ribbon.

Perhaps different ribbons signified whether or not the medal was awarded to soldiers/sailors/ or civilians of Leningrad?

The ribbon is simply worn out, no difference between military and civil award

look around the horizon line of the inscription "In Defense of Leningrad" on the first variation stops on the inside.



On the later version the line continuous to the edge of the medal (at the letters A to left and Д to right)

Nice Defence of Leningrad medals. I understand that the ribbons were often replaced due to wear, and the variations of the medal itself are what determines authenticity?
