Defense of Moscow Medal. Variation 1 - Good?

Different reverses are common things, especially the war time production. More tham 1M were produced. Mondvor hasn't got all the variations. A colleague (Andreas from Germany) was researching it couple of years ago , he has found 11 different types and subtypes of 'For Defence of Moscow' medal

I really have no experience in this, so I'm just going off of what Ph3s has to say... 11 different types and subtypes.

I guess the best explanation is that there was a war going on and they were just concerned with getting medals out to deserving soldiers... NOT making sure that all of the medals were identical.

A similar Variation to the example I posted , The handle is correct , the edge of the sickle is worn but present.
The lettering is correct

The defense of Moscow is not uncommon, it is best to stay on examples known and recognized .
