Full set of Afghanistan-veteran

A good award set with all docs plus ribbon bar of some Soviet soldier conscripted into Afghanistan:

- Combat Valor medal
- jubilee medal "70 years of Soviet Army"
- campaigne medal "Voinu-internatsionalistu"
- Afghanistani medal for soviet soldiers

Combat Valor medal was signed already in 1982; the other soviet medals were signed after the campaigne in 1988 and Afghanistani medal in 1989

Very nice grouping. I must keep an eye out for a complete Soviet Afghanistan grouping. A little outside my normal collecting area however I am playing with the idea of starting up a side collection of UK awards for service in Afghanistan. I think a selection of awards of the Soviet invasion and occupation would fit in rather nicely.
