Hi everyone! My first post but I've visited off and on for a while and love the good stuff you all have here. Time to contribute. Here are 2 of my guards badges.
Here is one early postwar example, also a rare one, right in the Strlok's post.
Thank for sharing

Gentlemen,
What can you tell me about this Guards badge?
It is a bit unusual to me, as it does not have the fringe of post-war badges, but the area has a rough finish, to say the least.
Could it be a post-war badge whose owner wants to pass it as wartime with some "makeup"? Or just a sloppy manufacture of a wartime badge?
Your opinions would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Gus
Hi Gus, I agree with Dimas, it is a good WW2 era badge. I have seen several with this rough area under the flag like you describe.
Cheers, Ade.
Thank you very much for your swift replies, Dimas and Ade.
Nice to know it is wartime and not a fraud. These days anything is possible, even with a piece which is (still) relatively cheap and easy to obtain.

Gus
guys , you have history of this badge ? first years of production ect .....
I really like your badge Philippe, an interesting homemade fix!
Regards, Kris
