Some guy told me the first one is like a "medal for bravery". Anyone know what war this is from? I thought it was from WW2 but the guy told me this could also be from afghanistan?

It is the Bravery Medal. You can date these by the serial number. They are researchable too. I think this one will date to 1945 at a rough estimate going by the serial number.

To read more about it, see here:

Is there like a register site for the serial numbers or where can i reserach them back to their origins?

Research can be done, but it costs between $60 and $100.

By the way, medal 4 has an incorrect ribbon. It should be the same as those on 6 & 7.

    Cheers, Ade.
