On August 6, 1946 a large wound award Decree was issued, so he was probably severely wounded (usually the loss of a limb or impaired movement), had to leave the army, and received an award for it.

Just though for those who would like to know, I was able to reunite some of the brothers. A few weeks ago I went to a show and lucky me. He still had the Leningrad and victory medals. Sadly, he never obtained the OPW with the group. At least the Leningrad medal is a type 1.
