Order Of The Red Banner 18351

I have just purchased an award booklet of which the first medal issued was an Order Of The Red Banner No 18351. (See pic) I'm curious to know the 1st ORB year of issue... any ideas? This is the only scan I have, as I have yet to receive item

Thanks Wow! That would it put around summer 1941 then.... early days of the invasion of the Soviet Union

I would really like to see his name. With the name you can simply look up his citation online, which will tell you the exact award date.

But for now my guess is that it's an early 1942 award. I have these close ones on file:

18250 - Feb 1, 1942, Volkhov Front
18297 - May 19, 1942, Leningrad Front
18407 - Jan 31, 1942, Western Front
18468 - Jan 30, 1942, Western Front

The piece itself was manufactured at the Leningrad Mint in 1933.
