Well, I suppose this is Ebay? For the sake of an unconsidered really quick answer given the short time to decide I think it looks like a cast copy with many many spurious dings to try and cover up the fact. For it to have so many contusions (they are in a very odd random spacing / orientation) I feel there should be more obvious wear to the detail and there does not seem to be.
As I say this is a snap answer so don't act on it alone.
However, if in doubt hold your fire!

So, does anyone have an opinion on this item? It ends in 15 minutes.
I don't like it..."CCCP" the third "C" seems off to me...looks like a cast as watchdog mentioned. I wouldn't buy this...a lot of this is coming from Ukraine i assume.
A fake in my opinion. See also the cast edges round the edge of the medal.
