Hi, and welcome to the forum!
I think this is a modern (Post Soviet Union) award of the Russian Communist Party? Certainly not an award from Soviet times to the best of my knowledge.
Cheers, Ade.

It reminds me of the Bulgarian Order of 9 September 1944:

Good observation and the needed clue to ID this one. It's Bulgarian as well; the Order for People's Liberty, 2nd model, 2nd Class:

Ah, excellent!
Well done guys
Cheers, Ade.

Damn, you guys are good!
Greetings from bulgaria !!! This is the order "People's Liberty 1941-1944" i think 2nd class ! It is post world war 2.
When Blgaria was no longer a kingdom and became a communist state until 1989.
As a newbie to the forum I admire the way you help each other so quickly. I have been trying to identify a British medal ribbon for a friend who came across a relatives WW2 awards only recently. The chap obviously served in many theatres and his final pre demob task involved driving POWs to their various job sites for the MOD under the Agricultural policy at the time. The ribbon in question is definitely not a faded 39-45 one by the way!
the colours are a definite Dark Green, Light Orange and a very pale buff/khaki/sand or even off white!
Any help would be most appreciated;
Cheers guys

In case the forum members don't know the answer, this site may be helpful - it contains clear ribbon charts for each country: Medals of the World
