    Here the first of many??..I have found this E-bay it's going for 18 pounds from the States....I like the badge design for the Machine Gunner..I was wonder if I could bother anybody over the badge being real,old,new, & if that is too cheap or too pricey.. Sorry for so many questions?? But I could be onto something big here!!!!     Hi Terry, this one is a copy.

    Points to note:
    Note the bronze looking back.
    Thick lettering to the wording.

    24 original known variants to this badge.

    On these copies, the nut is similar to real ones also found on guards badges. There are more than one style of fakes of these so caution is warranted.

    Just an FYI here is a real nut version of that nut on a ww2 real guards badge , Attachment 610303

    That nut is made by the People's Commissariat of Communication Lines.

    NKPS made railway badges pre war.

    Another real nut, slightly different of this same style on a ww2 guards badge
    I only post these because it is one tell on some of the 'excellent' series fakes.
