Soviet Medal Group
Hi Guys
Thinking of buying this medal grouping, can you confirm they are all isssued to the same person ?? Also, i am not familiar with the star shaped medal?
Sorry if i seem a little lazy, but i need to decide quickly, i really like them, just had a long drive..... opinions always appreciated !!

It seems to be a good group. From his online records, it seems that he was first a Private in a howitzer regiment and later a Sergeant in a 76-mm gun battery of an infantry regiment. He enlisted in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.

Don't forget that this bar was not assembled until 1965+...
If the numbered order & medal click, it is a nice thing.

It was not uncommon for suspensions and ribbons to be replaced when a new medal was issued. Interestingly, the brass suspension is from the 40s though. £180 is a fair price.

Do you have the document for the 20th Anniversary of Victory, which would have been awarded in 1965? I think that was the reason my esteemed colleague thought the bar was assembled post 1965, brass suspension notwithstanding, ahem. . .
