Today's haul

This lot came in the other day and I'm quite happy to have scored a couple of minor "grails".
Both the BCXB Young Participant and the Officer's Signals badges I've been looking for for a few years. Thankfully I have a spare suspension for the one badge. Also nice to score a medical romb to boost my school badge collection.

OK then, maybe this is more interesting.
These medals I ordered online in November of 2004. Paid a little over $100 for the set. It was my first major Soviet medals purchase. I never received the package. The seller sent it registered but I never got it.
Late last week, eight and a half years later, my neighbor and ex-girlfriend, finally admitted to receiving my medals and keeping them from me for 8.5 years.
And so here they are, more than 8 years late.

Wow! Awesome medals, but what on earth was the excuse for not getting the package to you? Must have been good!
