Nice badge. There are several variants of the Excellent Artillery Man badge.
I also have two of these badges in the collection. The left badge on the picture has a lot of wear damage.





On the Internet I found a picture of a well-decorated Soviet-Russian artillery crew.
Apparently they have participated in the battle of Stalingrad because they all wearing the medal For the Defence of Stalingrad. On their right breast, most of them are also wearing the Excellent Artillery Man badge.

A highly decorated crew indeed. Also note the plastic covers on the Glory and Courage ribbons of the sergeant in front.
