20 mm casing ID

I have found this casing...




there is text in headstamp 4 5 T W (or M)

dimensions are 20 mm @ bottom
18 mm @ top on inside but it is broken

it is brass and heavy on bottom

please help ID

Hi,what you have is the bottom piece of a .50 cal.Browning MG cartridge,made in Twin Cities USA in 1945...Pete.
