    Another from my collection a 1941 2Pdr No.2 or the 40mm x 304mm with solid shot (Which I already had) so possibilities for the markings;
    CF = Cordite Full Charge
    MF = Small Arms Ammunition Factory No. 1 Footscray, Australia
    340 = Lot No.
    /|\ = Accepted for Govt service
    1 - I = Could be the case designation or if it is a 1 relate to type of primer? TIA

    303 round on Rt for scale.

    Yea i would agree with it being I being the case designation. As there existed a AP-T mk1/t round and a AP-T mk2/t round

    Cool round nonetheless
