I like it Ezz, excellent kitchen cammo!! It would also make an unusual lemon squeezer too....

Perfect match with the kitchen cupboards Eric,so that's how to get things past the better half.
It's very nice mate. The wear ring around the top is interesting,i guess it's where the round made contact with the breech when being loaded so prelonging the life of the round.
It's a cool piece.

Nice dummy,but is it 50mm or 75mm?
JEDEM DAS SEINE
It's a 3 inch (76mm)
Now that you ask Pete it is bigger than 50mm so I guess it is 75mm we are not too good with metric here thanks for the help!
Thanks Thanatos just saw your reply But I have found more info it is a 105mm Artillery Shell look at this link,... WWII US MILITARY GEAR PRICE GUIDE - MilitaryItems.com

Great piece Eric. - Matches the rest of the woodwork very well !
Even if one of these matched our kitchen cabinetry, it would be
impossible to convince my wife that it should be
displayed there.........!
Regards,
Steve.
Thanks Steve can we change the title to 105mm.
I guess it is not a 105mm I am told.
