I think you should remind your uncle that he could be prosecuted for reckless endangerment of the public, that is a very heavy fine,and because he is a businessman the court wouldnt be lenient, nor would the hire company as they could blacklist him which would result in a substantial inconvenience not being able to hire any plant from other outlets, is it really worth all that
Well called it in today and finally got rid of it. Apparently it was a shell but it was empty ??? The Bomb disposal Bloke just walked to the van with it in his hand.
My guess is that it was brought home in the war and mocked up to look real then later dumped. As for my uncles actions well what can i say, crazy.... This has all been done today while he's away !

On the side of the RLC wagon you can see the Royal Logistic Corp Bomb disposal plaquards, they hate it when we turn the bottom flap over because underneath it says Royal Airforce Bomb Disposal.
