Eihandgranate 1917 2nd type
Quite a neat little grenade! Only thing missing is the pull wire but I can live with out it.
For reference the 1st type didn’t have a fragmentation ring around the body. My example does have the fragmentation ring. I would say it’s in pretty good condition. Aside from some small pitting here and there.
Just a quick post today so a bit bare info wise but hopefully you guys like it!
A nice grenade, and there always seems to be a plentiful supply of them too!
Which means I can get them pretty cheap!

UPDATE:
I applied some renaissance wax the other night and this must of cleaned the grenade or made it clearer but Markings on the fuze are now visible!
It’s quite hard to see but it 100% says “ 5 Sec “ in reference to the delay.
