All of this floodiung is bound to expose a bunch of WW2 nasties... as well as many long buried collectables.

I think the current fires in Russia will be having an even greater affect. They're so hot that the soil is actually burning, peat bogs. This must be clearing some areas of the Second Great Wars legacy EODs, but I guess this must also be an added worry for the people fighting these fires. Sadly the fires are probably destroying many unrecovered relics.
