Here's an example of a German glass mine. The glass bowls are often found in France where they were used as butter dishes or similar.

In order to make the mine less detectable and less metal used to save for the war effort.

Hello! We find many, many in France because there was two factories in Amiens, and the depot was south of Amiens...
One of "mine"

In the 90's, we can find them in the woods(old stocks)

I don't know: it was a depot, very large, not danderous because no explo, so French Army broke some, chidrens others and people toke many...
On ebay, many sellers of pots are from Picardy

I suppose the fragments of glass would cause some pretty nasty injuries too.

Yes of course. Many of these mines in Alsace, to stop the Allies troops.
