What makes you think the white paint is good? I am interested to learn.

What makes me think ? Simply my experience with ww2 german ammo. i have seen so many original ....
If false, it's a damned good job.
But I can't be sure 100% , without having the item in the hands.

For the rest of the grenade ;
* I am also surprised about these ss runes on a sthgr (never seen).
* More often, this sort of paint is in black, not white.
* If the iron comes from water, apparently not the wood. This grenade has been remounted .
* i remark also hell green places under the feldgrau. It is not normal ........

In conclusion , the white paint seems ok, but the rest of the grenade reveals many anomalies.

Perhaps have you an opposite opinion about the paint . If yes, i would be interested to have some precisions .

Hi! The problem is that the paint is on the rust.
On this site you have a special place for SS markings, and the years are before the war, not during the war.

I have SS sticks here and are 1940. This can appears to be apple green before being repainted and SS stamped IMO .. please look at the picc you can see apple green under paint.
