Isn't it strange how all of the bullets have stopped halfway through the coins? Especially when you think of the low velocity that would be required for the bullet to be stopped by the relatively thin metal of the coin, I imagine that you'd be so far away that you couldn't see the coin. However, that clearly can't be the case because the bullets have all hit the centre of the coin!?!?

Hi yes i did think that a friend told me that often they would place the coin against something very hard but yes i know what you mean. Also i could not find one single case in the whole area plenty of heads just not one case i even went back as far as 250m from the back stop

I am very skeptical about any 'shot coins', I have been collecting militaria many years and they suddenly appeared on the market 4-5 years ago in great numbers. I noticed that they originally started as WW1 pennies, then WW2 and now you can buy one which covers just about any conflict in the last 125 years - not many peace time examples however.
