    Hi there!

    Last weekend at Chiney I bought this:



    But... Who can (please) tell me a little bit more about it?

    I couldn't find any markings. ;-/

    What I was looking for when I bought it was a complete 75mm for the German Panther to display next to my 88mm FLAK and 88mm King Tiger shells. :-)

    possibly a 75mm US round maybe a prac i see a tiny bit of blue paint on the bottom. Also look at 76mm US, russian, british

    Looks like the one 6th from left, US stuff has markings on the drive bands you might be able to make somthing out on the drive band still

    GREAT! Looks like it! Do you know more details/name so I can look more up?

    What vehicle uses this kind of shells?

    I will check the drive bands again again!

    75mm was used in the Grant/lee and the Sherman, the British also used it in various tanks like the Cromwell by modifying the 6 pounder guns, They preferred the 75mm over the 6 pounder as the high explosive round was better
