Well the range of calibre should be relatively easy to calculate and being a straight box design rather than a curve at this capacity (looks like 20rds?) it must be for rimless cartridges.

It looks Browining- ish but I'm not certain about the BAR. It might help to know where they came from in order to know the possibilities.

By the way, that cartridge shown inside one of the mags is surely the wrong way round?

    Regards

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares more about than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature with no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Looks a bit like M 14 mags, but they're not. Perhaps FN/FAL mags? Have to go get some of mine out to compare.

    Thank you for the replies.

The photo it's from my friend so i still don't know the truth behind it.
But i think it's a 9mm cartridge but placed on front of the longer cartridge?

So is these magazine from world war 2? Or post war? if it's war time made, i guess i'll buy it from my friend.

It might be a top feed gun , the stopper on the sides show it was a very shallow magazine well .

Yes that could be it , also the Japanese copied the ZB vz26 , vz30 , and it was also produced in China .
