Magazine ID Needed!

Hi all-

I bought this in the 90s and have never figured out what it was. I think it's American, and it seems to fit .308 cal rounds, single stacked. It's completely unmarked and feels like it's made of steel. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry to dig up such an old thread, but in case anyone is wondering, I learned that this magazine is for spotting rounds for the SMAW rocket launcher!
