MG42 belt info

Hey guys, I recently purchased about 350 rounds of original ww2 german 8mm. Included were 150 rounds of tracers. So I decided I am going to put a 50 round mg belt together for display. My question is for the MG42, what was the standard order of ball ammo to tracer rounds loaded? 1 to 5? 1 to 8? Someone out there knows it just isn't me. Thanks for reading as always.. Darren

If I remember correctly in the us Army it is every 5th round.

I asked my dad (former Gordon highlander) that us brits do it 1 tracer for each 4 normal bullets so 1:4

Edit seems to be the same as the wartime Germans then

Thanks guys but the cyclical rate of the 42 was much higher than the .30 cal. If I had to guess I'd say every 7th round but I can't find any source to confirm.
