Modified british 2 pounder?
My brother bought this and it seems to be a modified british 2 pounder casing?
According to my brother, the seller said it was used on destroyers for launching the depthcharges?
The base is 4,5cm, the top 3,5cm and the height is 7cm.
The question is, is this true?
Here's some interesting info. Looks like your man may have been correct, albeit this being the U.S. type.
