It would appear to be a round for a Panzerschreck.

    Better pics would be nice.

    Cheers, Ade.

It's pretty impossible for anyone who might be able to value it to do so from those pictures- if you have no more, even saying what the asking price is could help because if the seller thinks it's a mortar round or doesn't know at all what it is, it might be low enough for the condition of the round, beyond what can be seen in those terrible photos, to not matter so much...

The pictures are that terrible because he sends them piece meal like that from Germany, I think he tries to keep his sources secret or something by cutting the pictures up and then pasting them back together and saving in a new file. It's rusted... the entire surface is covered... but it hasn't eaten through the thin tail piece at all either. I was only looking for a rough ballpark figure because he wanted to trade it for some of my old indian pottery, the pottery I have is worth about $300.00 If I trade for this item I want to turn and sell it for a profit so that's the whole story.... So can anybody put a ballpark figure / guess on value of a rusted german round like this?

    Less than $300.

And you do have to SERIOUSLY ask yourself why he is cutting up the pictures and sending you them in bits like this. He obviously has something to hide and I would not trade with him even if HE paid ME !
