How much would a smoke grenade like this cost?

It is in good condition to say the least.

Stick looks like from M24, I think about 700-800$.

Inf. Div. 121 is correct, the handle looks like from a regular M24 HE grenade. The sticks for most smoke grenades, but not all, had grooves or rings milled at the bottom of wood handle like this one. The grooves were so you could feel the difference in the dark I would guess. They also usually had a white paint stripe on the handle for a visual to tell they were smoke grenades. I really don't think they are worth $700-800 as was said. Maybe some collector might pay that for an absolutely perfectly mint example if they wanted it bad enough, but I wouldn't.
