Need help identifying unknown projectile or fuse.
Good evening all. It's been a really long time since I posted. I am wondering, if what is in the picture's is a fuse or projectile. By the weight I think it is lead. I don't see any markings on the item. Its a bit hard to see in the photo but there is a small hole in about the center on the bottom side. Any help on what this is would be much appreciated, Thank you in advance.

from the case looks like a 40mm under barrel grenade launcher round
Thank you for the reply, but I was using the 40mm to show a scale of size.

Don't know the first thing about Ord and projectiles but the casting on this is quite poor. Looks like someone was making this at home.

Yes not a very good cast looks like a rifled slug for big game hunting.
