Hi there guys,

Some-one i know has found this piece and doesn't know where it's from and where it was used for..
He thinks it's a piece of a (British?) mine.

Need some help from u guys...

can you tell us where he found it ?

It does look suspicious like a detonator of some kind. If it is, the piece on the bottom could well be the gain. If it is, this is a dangerous item !!!

He found it in the Reichswald.
He is/was aware of it, that it could be dangerous.

It looks like a .303 cardridge but he can't read the headstamp.

Looks like the detonator assembly for a No74 Mk1 grenade also known as the sticky bomb

Its just the upper half in the picture i posted earlier,if you look closely you will see the whole assembly is of two part construction,
im also attatching images of one for you to compare from a clearance task i was on a few years ago
