    These were reported to be recovered from a WWI battlefield.
    If you can tell me whom they may have been fired by, that would be very much appreciated!!!

    This is what I can tell you on their dimensions:
    Height: 2.26 inches (57.4 mm)
    Radius at the base: 0.47 inches (11.9 mm)
    Radius at the top: 0.37 inches (9.3 mm)

    These appear to be German 7.9x57mm cases made in 1915-1917 by Spandau arsenal....Pete.
