Question about WWII German 8MM Ammo & Box

I bought a several of these boxes of 8mm ammo at a gunshow, said it was from 1942 any truth?

Couple of original boxes of 8mm Mauser or 7.92 cal mine was dated 44 and contained steel cases. Nice condition you have. timothy

The lable only shows it as iron-cored,brass cased ammo,can you show a picture of the headstamps?.....Pete.

The clear tape on the bottom of one suggests it was open and I'd bet the guy just looked at the headstamps before closing the box back up.

Sorry for the late reply, I have been attending to family issues..

The Tape was added by me, the tip of the rounds were ripping through the bottom of the boxes.
I plan on opening up one of the worst boxes I have thats falling apart and I will take pictures of the headstamp soon.

Good original ammo. Since the box isn't date stamped we will need to see the headstamp.
