Can someone please identify this shell??
I found it while diving on place where german ship was sunk.
There is a lot of this stuff along with flakk 88 shells.

Whatever it is, I wouldn't have been so quick to bring it home with you. There's a possibility that it still packs an explosive punch, especially after 70+ years submerged in salt water. Unexploded ordnance on sunken ships poses a serious danger, even so many decades after the end of the war.

I think the color may be original. Here is mine that has been vetted as original paint by a few ordinance collectors.

Colour is original judging by the stencilled markings. Finnish ammunition - well that's a bit unusual for me but...... The stencilling does not conform to the German markings, (according to the original markings diagrams). The ZT ZS 30 is a bog standard German Time mechanical fuze, very scary and not wholly reliable. The other item, can you send measurements and a picture of the base please. The indented area around the circumference could be for a driving band but it is very large and judging by the wartime lack of materials I would have expected smaller. Send more detail and I'll check it out, I have an idea but need that detail and base picture to confirm.
