    Default Somme Artillery Fuse relics.........

Artillery fuse relics from the Somme. One was slightly
cleaned before I got it, the other three as found.
I believe at least one is German, and the two
identical ones are 16 pounder shrapnel.
    Note the remaining orange coloured
    paint.

Ordnance guys will know what type of shells they're
from, as the WWI battlefields of France and
    Belgium are littered with these.........

I stayed at a B&B in La Sars a couple of years ago, they had a Museum and you could buy anything out of it as they were always getting new stuff off the fields..I bought a bunch of these for 1 euro 50 each!!! Cost a lot more to have them airmailed home!!!

Thank you for your comments, gentlemen.

Dean, I believe the going rate may be about 10 Pounds
each these days, and postage is a killer - likely 10 or
15 Pounds to send one to North America........
    Regards,

    Steve.
